Bree reconciles with Susan, Lynette, and Gabrielle, telling them about Orson's wrongdoings. When Karen asks Bree to help her die with dignity, Bree reluctantly agrees but eventually convinces Karen to reconsider. After finding a gun in Mike's pocket and learning that he protected Renee from Donny, Susan unsuccessfully tries to request police protection. Gabrielle is furious when Carlos suddenly starts giving money away to people in need, before he announces he wants to quit his job to do something meaningful with his life. At Penny's birthday party, Jane informs Lynette that she and Tom are moving in together, upsetting Lynette. When Jane chokes on a cheese puff, Lynette hesitates to help her before performing the Heimlich maneuver on her at the last minute, claiming to have panicked. The police receive Orson's envelope containing evidence of Bree's role in the cover-up of Alejandro's murder. While with Susan on their front porch, Mike is killed by Donny in a drive-by shooting.
