Complete story — includes the ending
The school bully's intimidating enforcer, Frankie Stechino, harbors a secret crush on a classmate named Gloria. Knowing he lacks the verbal eloquence to woo her, Frankie approaches Cory and Shawn for romantic guidance. Drawing inspiration from Edmond Rostand's classic play Cyrano de Bergerac, Cory and Shawn agree to ghostwrite romantic poetry and feed suave lines to Frankie to help him express his feelings. The plan successfully wins Gloria's heart, but Cory and Shawn are horrified to discover that Gloria is actually the current girlfriend of Frankie's terrifying boss, Harley Keiner. A furious Harley vows to hunt down and brutalize the person responsible for stealing his girlfriend. Cory and Shawn must frantically work to diffuse the explosive situation before Harley discovers Frankie's involvement and destroys their group dynamic. Meanwhile, Alan and Amy's wedding anniversary approaches, prompting Alan to buy a gift. He chooses an industrial-grade trash compactor, reasoning that it is a practical household upgrade. Amy is profoundly disappointed and hurt by the unromantic nature of the present. Seeking to rectify his mistake after realizing he misjudged what his wife actually wanted, Alan turns to his coworker for advice. He ultimately orchestrates a sincere, deeply sentimental gesture to salvage the anniversary and make amends with Amy. Guest stars: Danny McNulty as Harley Keiner, Blake Soper as Joey, Ethan Suplee as Frankie, Mathea Webb as Gloria Absent: Lily Nicksay as Morgan Matthews
