Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

=== Characters and setting ===

Marvel's Spider-Man features a large ensemble cast of characters drawn from the history of Spider-Man comics. Peter Parker (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) is a 23-year-old research assistant, who gains superhuman abilities after being bitten by a genetically modified spider. Assuming a secret identity as the superhero Spider-Man, Peter uses these abilities to protect the residents of New York City. Eight years into his superhero career, Peter has become an experienced crime fighter but struggles to balance his superhero and personal lives. Peter is assisted by Daily Bugle reporter Mary Jane Watson (Laura Bailey), his ex-girlfriend, and NYPD captain Yuri Watanabe (Tara Platt). In his civilian life, Peter is supported by his Aunt May (Nancy Linari) who volunteers at the F.E.A.S.T. homeless shelter run by philanthropist Martin Li (Stephen Oyoung). Peter is employed by his friend and mentor, the respected scientist Dr. Otto Octavius (William Salyers).
Spider-Man's adventure brings him into contact with other characters, including Miles Morales (Nadji Jeter) and his parents, NYPD officer Jefferson Davis (Russell Richardson) and Rio Morales (Jacqueline Pinol), Oscorp CEO and New York City mayor Norman Osborn (Mark Rolston), and Silver Sable (Nichole Elise), leader of the private military company Sable International. Spider-Man's mission brings him into conflict with several supervillains, beginning with his longtime foe and Kingpin of crime in New York Wilson Fisk (Travis Willingham), and a supernaturally powered gang called the Inner Demons who begin dividing the city for Mister Negative, who can corrupt people through his touch. Spider-Man must also confront Electro (Josh Keaton), Rhino (Fred Tatasciore), Scorpion (Jason Spisak), Vulture (Dwight Schultz), Shocker (Dave B. Mitchell), Taskmaster (Brian Bloom), Screwball (Stephanie Lemelin), and Tombstone (Corey Jones).
Several other characters—including Peter and Mary Jane's childhood friend Harry Osborn (Scott Porter), who is supposed to be vacationing in Europe, and anti-Spider-Man podcast host J. Jonah Jameson (Darin De Paul)—have voice roles in the main game. Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee appears in a cameo role as a short-order cook. The game's downloadable content features appearances by master-thief Black Cat (Erica Lindbeck), Maggia mobster Hammerhead (Keith Silverstein), and Felicia's father Walter Hardy (Daniel Riordan).
Marvel's Spider-Man depicts fictional locations and entities from the Marvel Comics universe, including Avengers Tower, the Wakandan Embassy, the Symkarian Embassy, the Sanctum Sanctorum, the law offices of Nelson and Murdock, Alias Investigations, Rand Enterprises, the superhero cleanup company Damage Control, the Roxxon Energy Corporation, and Empire State University. It also features real-world locations including the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Madison Square Garden, and the Chrysler Building.

Plot

Spider-Man defeats Wilson Fisk, creating a criminal power vacuum in New York City. A masked gang known as the Inner Demons begins seizing Fisk's illicit assets, and Mary Jane and Spider-Man learn that they are seeking something called Devil's Breath. With the aid of Officer Jefferson Davis, Spider-Man thwarts a Demon attack. Jefferson is lauded for his heroism at a re-election event for Mayor Norman Osborn. The Demons attack the event, killing Jefferson and many other attendees. Peter witnesses Martin Li leading the attack and appearing as “Mister Negative”, but is knocked unconscious before he can intervene. Following the attack, Norman hires Silver Sablinova and Sable International to supplant the police. Peter befriends Jefferson's son, Miles Morales, and persuades him to volunteer at F.E.A.S.T.
Peter and Otto Octavius continue their research into advanced prosthetic limbs, but Norman withdraws their funding in an attempt to force Otto to work for his mega-corporation Oscorp. While searching for Martin, Spider-Man discovers that Devil's Breath is a lethal, virulent bioweapon inadvertently created by Oscorp while developing a cure for genetic diseases. Martin steals the only sample of Devil's Breath and threatens to release it unless Norman surrenders to him. With Mary Jane’s help, Spider-Man defeats Mister Negative, who is subsequently incarcerated at nearby maximum-security prison the Raft, while the Devil's Breath is secured.
Meanwhile, Otto obsesses over creating enhanced limbs that exceed the human body's limitations, creating four mechanical tentacles operated from his back and mentally controlled via a neural interface. He reveals to Peter that he is suffering from a neuromuscular disease that will inevitably immobilize him and that enhanced limbs will allow him to continue his work when his body fails. Peter warns Otto that the interface could impact his mind and personality. Otto continues its use in secret, overcome with anger at Norman. While investigating a breakout at the Raft, Spider-Man learns that some of his greatest enemies—Martin, Electro, Vulture, Rhino, and Scorpion—have escaped. They subdue Spider-Man and present him to a crazed Otto, now "Doctor Octopus", who warns Spider-Man not to interfere before retaking the Devil's Breath and releasing it in Times Square, causing a mass outbreak that infects numerous people, including Aunt May. New York descends into chaos while Otto's team attacks the city. Norman declares martial law and blames Spider-Man for the incident, branding him a fugitive.
Spider-Man gradually takes back the city, defeating Electro, Vulture, Rhino, and Scorpion. Mary Jane infiltrates Norman's penthouse and learns that Oscorp developed Devil's Breath to cure Norman's terminally ill son Harry. As a child, Martin was a test subject for the cure, gaining his abilities in an explosion of energy that also killed his parents and caused his hatred for Norman. She also learns that an antidote for Devil's Breath exists and that Martin has stolen it. Spider-Man tracks down and defeats Martin, but Otto arrives, brutalizes Spider-Man, and escapes with the antidote and Norman. While Spider-Man recovers, Miles is bitten by an Oscorp genetically modified spider that Mary Jane unknowingly carried from Norman's penthouse.
Peter builds himself an armored “Anti-Ock” suit and confronts Otto atop Oscorp Tower, rescuing Norman. Otto reveals that he knows Peter's secret identity. Spider-Man defeats Otto and retrieves the antidote, leaving a motionless Otto to be arrested. Peter is forced to choose between using the limited cure to save May from her imminent death or synthesizing a vaccine for the infected masses; he decides to save everyone. Before she dies, May reveals that she knows he is Spider-Man and is proud of him.
Three months later, New York has returned to normal, and Peter and Mary Jane rekindle their relationship. Miles reveals to Peter that he has gained spider-like powers, prompting Peter to reveal his own. Having resigned as mayor in disgrace, Norman enters a secret laboratory where Harry is kept in stasis with a black, web-like substance. As Norman places his hand on the tank, the substance reacts and copies him.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

=== Characters and setting ===
The narrative of the game continues from where Marvel's Spider-Man and its downloadable content The City That Never Sleeps left off, during which Miles Morales (Nadji Jeter) was bitten by a genetically enhanced spider and gained powers similar to his mentor and friend Peter Parker (Yuri Lowenthal). A year after the first game's conclusion, Miles has been trained by Peter, moved from Brooklyn to Harlem, and has fully integrated himself into the role of a Spider-Man. He is still in the process of gaining experience and doubts whether he can live up to Peter's legacy. At the beginning of the game, Peter leaves New York for Symkaria for several weeks to help his girlfriend Mary Jane Watson with her reporting there and trusts Miles to protect the city in his absence. Now the sole Spider-Man, Miles must balance his superhero responsibilities with supporting his mother Rio Morales (Jacqueline Piñol) in her campaign for City Council and defending his new home from a violent war between the corrupt Roxxon Energy Corporation and a high-tech criminal army known as the Underground.
Aside from Miles, Peter, and Rio, the game features several other returning characters from Marvel's Spider-Man, including the supervillain Rhino (Fred Tatasciore), the imprisoned crime lord Wilson Fisk (Travis Willingham), anti-Spider-Man podcast host J. Jonah Jameson (Darin De Paul), and F.E.A.S.T. volunteer Gloria Davila (Melanie Minichino). Peter's former mentor and employer Dr. Otto Octavius (William Salyers) appears in a flashback, while the head of Oscorp and former New York mayor Norman Osborn (Mark Rolston) appears in a mid-credits scene. Miles's late father, Officer Jefferson Davis (Russell Richardson), appears in a voice-only role. Norman's son Harry is also featured in a non-speaking appearance in the mid-credits scene via a first-person perspective.
The new cast includes Miles' best friend and classmate Ganke Lee (Griffin Puatu), who is aware of his secret identity and assists him with his Spider-Man activities; Miles' estranged and overprotective uncle Aaron Davis (Ike Amadi), who leads a double life as the armored mercenary Prowler; the head of Roxxon's R&D department Simon Krieger (Troy Baker); podcaster and Spider-Man supporter Danika Hart (Ashly Burch); deaf street artist Hailey Cooper (Natasha Ofili); bodega owner Teo Alvarez (Yancey Arias); Caleb's Clean Cuts barber Caleb Ward (Emerson Brooks); Pana Fuerte restaurateur Camila Vasquez (Krizia Bajos); and Miles' childhood best friend Phin Mason (Jasmin Savoy Brown), as the Tinkerer, the figurehead of the Underground, who seeks to avenge her brother Rick. The mid-credits scene introduces Dr. Curt Connors, who is voiced by an uncredited actor.

Plot

After more than a year of training under Peter Parker, Miles Morales has mastered his superpowers and established himself as the original Spider-Man's crime-fighting partner, though he still struggles to adapt to his new role. While he and Peter escort a police transport carrying prisoners to the rebuilt Raft, Miles accidentally releases several inmates, including Rhino. While trying to stop Rhino's rampage through the city, Peter is knocked unconscious. Miles intervenes to protect him and defeats Rhino with his new bio-electric ability, later dubbed "Venom Blast". Leaving Rhino in the custody of energy corporation Roxxon, headed by Simon Krieger, Peter informs Miles that he will be going to Symkaria for a few weeks to assist Mary Jane Watson as her photographer as she writes a story on the country's civil war, and entrusts Miles to look after New York in his absence as its sole Spider-Man. Later, Miles investigates a break-in at Roxxon Plaza and stops a hi-tech criminal group called the Underground from stealing Roxxon's new experimental power source, Nuform. Returning home to celebrate Christmas with Rio and Ganke, Miles is surprised to learn that Rio also invited his childhood friend Phin, with whom he has not spoken in months. The next day, Ganke creates a Spider-Man app so citizens can call Miles for help directly. Miles' uncle, Aaron Davis, is the first to use it and reveals that he knows his nephew's identity as Spider-Man.
Miles soon witnesses the conflict between the Underground and Roxxon escalate, as the former attack one of Rio's campaign rallies in front of Roxxon Plaza and a Roxxon transport carrying Nuform on the Braithwaite Bridge. Miles tries to prevent the Underground from stealing the Nuform, discovering Phin is the Tinkerer in the process, but his Venom Power causes most of the Nuform to explode, destroying the bridge and damaging his public image. Ganke gives him a pep talk and reminds Miles that for now, he is New York's only Spider-Man, encouraging Miles to become better and make his own unique Spider-Man costume in the process. While investigating Phin's connection to the Underground, Miles discovers that her brother Rick created Nuform during his work for Roxxon, but soon became sick due to its unstable properties. Phin and Rick sought to expose the dangers of Nuform to the public, but while trying to shut down a Nuform reactor, the latter was killed by Krieger, who subsequently took credit for Nuform's creation. With Aaron as the Prowler, Miles infiltrates a Roxxon lab to retrieve Phin's phone, which contains evidence of Krieger's crimes, but the phone is destroyed during his escape.
At Aaron's advice, Miles uses his friendship with Phin to infiltrate the Underground and learn more about their plans. He discovers that Phin created the Underground's advanced weaponry out of a special component, programmable matter, in exchange for their help in exacting revenge on Krieger, which she plans to achieve by sabotaging the Nuform reactor at Roxxon Plaza to destroy it and expose Nuform's dangerous side effects. However, Miles is soon forced to reveal his identity as Spider-Man to Phin in order to save his own life, souring their friendship. While meeting with Phin to try and reconcile with her, the two are captured by Roxxon with the aid of Rhino, whose exosuit has been enhanced by Roxxon tech. Miles and Phin escape, but the former learns that Aaron has been spying on him for Roxxon and that Krieger modified the plaza's Nuform reactor to destroy Harlem if Phin's plan succeeds. After being defeated, Rhino taunts Phin about Rick's death, causing her to viciously attack him. Miles intervenes to stop her from killing Rhino, but a furious Phin escapes after knocking Miles out.
Ganke brings an injured Miles home, where Rio discovers her son's identity as Spider-Man, but continues to support him. After recovering, Miles heads off to stop Phin, but is captured by Aaron, who imprisons him underground to prevent him from being killed like his father, Jefferson Davis, whom Aaron was unable to reconcile with prior to his death, resulting in his overprotectiveness of Miles. Miles escapes and defeats Aaron, explaining that he cannot turn his back on people when they need him. Inspired by his nephew's words, Aaron assists Rio with evacuating Harlem as the Underground and Roxxon fight on the streets, allowing Miles to head to Roxxon Plaza to stop Phin. Unable to reason with Phin, Miles fights and overpowers her before attempting to absorb the Nuform from the reactor to negate the blast, but the amount of energy proves too much to handle. Realizing her errors, Phin flies Miles to a safe distance above the city so that he can release the energy, killing her in the process. Miles plummets to the ground, where his identity is exposed to a few citizens he helped as Spider-Man, who promise to keep his secret and hail him as a hero.
Four weeks later, Roxxon is dealt numerous lawsuits, and Krieger is arrested after Aaron turns himself in and testifies against Krieger. Peter returns home from Symkaria and praises Miles for his growth and heroism, before they head off to fight crime together as the Spider-Men. In a mid-credits scene, Norman Osborn orders a reluctant Curt Connors to release his terminally ill son Harry Osborn from stasis despite the latter's unstable condition. In a post-credits scene, Miles leaves an award he won with Phin atop Trinity Church in her memory.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

=== Characters and setting ===

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is set 10 months after the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020). As with previous installments in the series, it features a large ensemble cast of various characters derived from the history of Spider-Man comics and other media. The game follows Peter Parker (Yuri Lowenthal) and Miles Morales (Nadji Jeter), who both became the superhero Spider-Man after gaining superhuman abilities upon being bitten by genetically modified spiders. Peter serves as a mentor to Miles, who gained his superpowers during the events of the first game, though he struggles with balancing his personal life and duties as the city's protector. They are supported by several allies: Daily Bugle reporter and Peter's girlfriend Mary Jane Watson (Laura Bailey); Miles' classmate and tech guru Ganke Lee (Griffin Puatu); city councilwoman and Miles' mother Rio (Jacqueline Piñol); deaf street artist Hailey Cooper (Natasha Ofili); and Miles' estranged uncle Aaron Davis (Ike Amadi), who previously operated as the Prowler.
Other characters in the game include former New York mayor and Oscorp CEO Norman Osborn (Mark Rolston) and his son, Peter and Mary Jane's best friend Harry Osborn (Graham Phillips), who suffers from a neurological disease inherited from his mother, Emily; Yuri Watanabe (Tara Platt), a disgraced former police captain and ally of Peter who has assumed the vigilante identity of "Wraith" following the events of The City That Never Sleeps; J. Jonah Jameson (Darin De Paul), the Daily Bugle's chief editor and Mary Jane's boss; Danika Hart (Ashly Burch), host of the "Danikast" podcast; Peter's deceased aunt, May (Nancy Linari), who is featured in a flashback; and Miles' late father, Officer Jefferson Davis (Russell Richardson), who appears in a dream sequence.
Throughout the city, the two Spider-Men are faced with several supervillains such as Venom (Tony Todd), an extraterrestrial symbiote capable of bonding to human bodies and granting regenerative powers while negatively influencing their behavior; Sergei Kravinoff / Kraven the Hunter (Jim Pirri), the leader of a faction of mercenaries called the "Hunters" who seek to hunt super-powered beings; and Cletus Kasady (Chad Doreck), also known as "The Flame", the head of a nihilistic cult who seeks to perform a demonic ritual to bring about an eschatological event dubbed the "Crimson Hour". Returning villains from the first game include Martin Li / Mister Negative (Stephen Oyoung), Mac Gargan / Scorpion (Jason Spisak), Lonnie Lincoln / Tombstone (Corey Jones), and Felicia Hardy / Black Cat (Erica Lindbeck). Additional antagonists who were referenced in prior entries make full appearances in Spider-Man 2, including Flint Marko / Sandman (Leandro Cano), a lowly burglar who, through an accident, gained the ability to turn into molecules of sand and manipulate them at will; Curt Connors / Lizard (Mark Whitten), an Oscorp scientist who transformed into a giant reptilian creature; Dmitri Smerdyakov / Chameleon (Jim Pirri), a criminal master of disguises and Kraven's half-brother; and Quentin Beck / Mysterio (Noshir Dalal), a visual effects artist and reformed criminal who became the head developer of a virtual reality entertainment attraction called "Mysterium". Furthermore, Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus (William Salyers), who is incarcerated in the Raft after the events of the first game, appears in a mid-credits scene.
The character Cindy Moon makes a non-speaking cameo appearance in the game's post-credits scene, along with her father Albert Moon (Tom Choi). The character Delilah, a skilled assassin who serves as the bartender at the Bar with No Name in an alternate universe, makes a cameo appearance during "The Message" side-quest. This version of the character was originally intended to appear in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) before her scene was cut from the final film.

Plot

10 months after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Peter Parker starts his first day as a physics teacher at Brooklyn Visions Academy with Miles Morales among his students, but they are interrupted by a rampaging Sandman, requiring both Spider-Men to subdue him. Fired for abandoning his class, Peter returns to his Aunt May's home in Queens (which he has moved into following her death) to meet with Mary Jane. They are surprised by their friend Harry Osborn, who has seemingly made a full recovery from a terminal illness. Harry invites Peter to work at his environmental technology startup, the Emily-May Foundation, so they can pursue Harry's dream of "healing the world". Concurrently, Kraven arrives in New York with his army of Hunters.
While overseeing a prison transfer with Peter at the Raft, a vengeful Miles fails to stop the Hunters from capturing Martin Li, who is responsible for the death of Miles' father Jefferson Davis. Investigating Kraven, Peter discovers he is hunting super-powered individuals in search of an "equal". Having already killed Scorpion, Vulture, Shocker, and Electro, Kraven attempts to capture Black Cat; however, Miles helps her escape to Paris by using the mystical Wand of Watoomb.
Peter, Mary Jane, and Harry visit Coney Island to reconnect. While there, the Hunters attack the park to capture a reformed Tombstone; as Peter rescues civilians, he is assisted by a super-powered Harry, who in turn learns Peter is Spider-Man. Harry reveals that, on his father's insistence, he was cured by Curt Connors via a powerful organic exosuit that physically augments his body. With the exosuit's powers rapidly developing, Harry helps Peter rescue Tombstone from the Hunters, while Mary Jane discovers that Kraven has also kidnapped Connors. The trio attempt to save Connors, but Kraven forcibly transforms him into the Lizard, steals a vial of the Lizard serum, and mortally wounds Peter. Moments before Peter's death, the exosuit transfers itself from Harry to Peter's body, saving his life. After Peter viciously defeats the Hunters with his newly enhanced powers, Kraven develops an interest in hunting Peter personally.
Peter reunites with Harry and Mary Jane and attempts to return the suit to Harry, but it refuses to leave him; the three conclude that they need Connors' help. Peter discovers that Kraven is terminally ill with cancer, and that he is searching for a worthy individual who can provide him with a "warrior's death" in combat, allowing him to die on his own terms. Peter manages to retrieve the serum from Kraven, who discovers the exo-suit's weakness to loud noises. While trying to synthesize an antidote at the Emily-May Foundation, Peter and Harry are attacked by the Hunters via a tracker Kraven left on the serum vial. Though they manage to successfully create the antidote, the ensuing battle destroys the Foundation, devastating Harry. Peter tracks down Connors with Miles' help, and eventually subdues and cures him. Upon seeing Peter wearing the exo-suit, Connors reveals that it is actually an alien lifeform called a symbiote, which he was responsible for procuring with help from Oscorp. The incident also cost Connors his arm when the symbiote latched on and refused to let go. Connors advises Peter to destroy it; but he refuses under the symbiote's corrupting influence, despite learning that Harry's illness has returned, which strains their friendship. As Peter goes on a symbiote-induced rampage against the Hunters (almost killing Mary Jane at one point), Kraven captures Miles and forces him to fight Li. Miles overcomes his anger towards the latter and helps him escape, telling him to find Peter. Once Li informs him of Miles' location, Peter storms Kraven's fortress to rescue him, nearly killing Kraven before Miles intervenes. Miles then fights Peter, helping him overcome the symbiote's corruption and removing it from his body.
Free of the symbiote, Peter takes it to Oscorp to be destroyed, but a desperate Harry reclaims it, transforming into a monstrous creature. After slaughtering Oscorp staff trying to remove the symbiote from him, the symbiote-possessed Harry escapes into Times Square, where he defeats several of Kraven's Hunters before overpowering and killing Kraven himself, to the latter's satisfaction. The symbiote convinces Harry to "heal the world" by infecting everyone on Earth with symbiotes, starting with New York. Now calling themselves Venom, Harry infects Mary Jane with her own symbiote, turning her into Scream, but Peter helps her break free of its influence, reconciling with her.
As Peter and Miles attempt to stop Venom, Peter is hindered by a trace amount of the symbiote still within him. After Miles settles his differences with Li, the latter uses his powers to convert Peter's symbiote traces into the Anti-Venom symbiote, which can destroy other symbiotes. Concurrently, Venom recovers the meteorite that originally brought him to Earth and empowers himself with it, accelerating his infestation of New York. Peter and Miles distract Venom, while Mary Jane steals the meteorite and destroys it with the EMF's particle accelerator, destroying Venom's symbiote horde. At Harry's insistence, Peter destroys the symbiote and frees Harry from its control, but the strain on his body renders Harry comatose.
In the aftermath, Mary Jane has quit the Daily Bugle to run her own podcast and moves in with Peter, who opts to take a break from being Spider-Man to focus on rebuilding the EMF, trusting Miles to protect the city on his own. Meanwhile, Norman blames the Spider-Men for ruining Harry's recovery; he visits an imprisoned Otto Octavius at the Raft to demand their secret identities, but Octavius refuses, taking glee in Norman's suffering while also planning revenge against Spider-men. Miles completes his college essay and meets Rio's new boyfriend, Albert Moon, who introduces them to his daughter Cindy.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Following the Battle of New York in 2012, Adrian Toomes and his salvage company are contracted to clean up the city, but their operation is taken over by the Department of Damage Control (DODC), a partnership between Tony Stark and the U.S. government. Enraged at being driven out of business, Toomes persuades his employees to keep the Chitauri technology they have already scavenged and use it to create and sell advanced weapons, including a flying Vulture suit Toomes uses to steal Chitauri power cells.
Eight years later, after being drafted into the Avengers by Stark to help with an internal dispute in Germany, teenager Peter Parker resumes his studies at the Midtown School of Science and Technology when Stark tells him he is not ready to become a full-time Avenger. Peter quits his school's academic decathlon team to spend more time focusing on his crime-fighting activities as Spider-Man. His best friend, Ned, eventually discovers his secret identity.
Peter comes across Toomes's associates Jackson Brice / Shocker and Herman Schultz selling weapons to local criminal Aaron Davis. Peter saves Davis before being caught by Toomes in the Vulture suit and dropped into a lake. He nearly drowns but is rescued by Stark, who warns him against further involvement with the criminals. Meanwhile, Toomes accidentally kills Brice with one of their weapons and Schultz becomes the new Shocker.
Peter and Ned study a weapon Brice left behind, and remove its power core. When a tracking device on Schultz indicates he is traveling to Maryland, Peter rejoins the decathlon team and accompanies them to Washington, D.C. for a national tournament. Ned and Peter disable a tracking device Stark implanted in the Spider-Man suit, and unlock its advanced features. Peter tries to stop Toomes from stealing weapons from a DODC truck but is trapped inside, causing him to miss the decathlon tournament. When he discovers that the power core is an unstable Chitauri grenade, he races to the Washington Monument, where the core is activated and explodes, trapping a group of Peter's decathlon teammates in an elevator. Peter breaks inside and saves everyone, including his crush Liz. Days later, Peter captures Toomes's new buyer Mac Gargan aboard the Staten Island Ferry, but Toomes escapes while a malfunctioning weapon tears the ferry in half. Stark arrives and helps Peter save the passengers, but confiscates Peter's suit as punishment for his recklessness.
Peter returns to his high school life and asks Liz to the homecoming dance. On the night of the dance, Peter discovers that Toomes is Liz's father, and Toomes deduces that Peter is Spider-Man. After Toomes threatens him, Peter realizes Toomes is planning to hijack a DODC plane transporting weapons from Avengers Tower to the team's new headquarters in Upstate New York.
Peter leaves the dance and dons his old homemade Spider-Man suit. He is ambushed by Schultz, but defeats him with Ned's help. Peter races to Toomes's compound, where Toomes attacks him and leaves him to die under a pile of rubble. Peter finds the strength to escape and intercepts the plane, steering it to crash on the beach at Coney Island. He and Toomes fight, with Peter eventually saving Toomes's life after the damaged Vulture suit explodes. Peter leaves Toomes for the police. Following Toomes's arrest, Liz moves away and Peter declines an invitation from Stark to join the Avengers full time. Back in his bedroom, Peter puts on the Spider-Man suit that Stark returned to him, just before his aunt May walks in.
In a mid-credits scene, an incarcerated Gargan approaches Toomes in prison. He says he heard that Toomes knows Spider-Man's real identity, but Toomes denies this.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

In Ixtenco, Mexico, Nick Fury and Maria Hill investigate an unnatural storm and encounter the Earth Elemental. Quentin Beck, a super-powered individual, arrives and defeats the creature. Fury and Hill subsequently recruit him. In New York City, the Midtown School of Science and Technology completes its year, which was restarted to accommodate the students who disintegrated five years earlier due to Thanos's actions; they had reappeared un-aged, thanks to the actions of the Avengers. The school organizes a two-week summer field trip to Europe, where Peter Parker—who is still mourning the death of his mentor Tony Stark—plans to reveal to classmate MJ his attraction to her. Happy Hogan informs Peter that Fury intends to contact him, but Peter ignores Fury's phone call.
Peter and his classmates travel to Venice, Italy, where the Water Elemental attacks. While Peter helps protect his classmates, Beck arrives and defeats the creature. Fury meets with Peter and gives him Stark's eyeglasses. The glasses enable him to communicate with and take command of the artificial intelligence E.D.I.T.H., which has access to Stark Industries' databases and commands a large orbital weapons supply. Beck claims to have entered from an alternate reality within the multiverse, where the four Elementals killed his family and destroyed his civilization. With only the Fire Elemental left to destroy, Beck predicts it will attack Prague, Czech Republic. Peter declines Fury's invitation to join the fight and returns to his class trip, but Fury secretly changes the class's itinerary to divert the students to Prague.
Peter is forced to help Beck fight the Fire Elemental to again protect his friends. Beck manages to destroy the creature with Peter's help. Fury and Hill invite Peter and Beck to Berlin, Germany to discuss forming a new superhero team, but Peter decides that Beck should go alone and transfers control of E.D.I.T.H. to him. Once Peter leaves, Beck celebrates alongside ex-Stark Industries employees, with whom he had been working to masquerade as a superhero. Beck, who was fired from his position as Stark's holographic-illusions specialist due to his unstable nature, uses advanced projectors to simulate his powers and the Elementals. He plans to use E.D.I.T.H.'s orbital weaponized drones to increase the scale of his illusions and fraudulently establish himself as an Avenger-level hero.
After MJ tells Peter she knows he is Spider-Man, they discover that a piece of debris she retrieved during the battle with the Fire Elemental is a projector and the pair realize Beck's deception. Peter travels to Berlin, to warn Fury, but Beck tricks him with an elaborate illusion, forcing him to reveal the names of his friends who know about Beck's plan, and causing Peter to get hit by a train. Beck is unaware that Peter, though injured, has survived. In the Netherlands, Peter contacts Hogan, who flies him to London, England, where his classmates are. Beck uses E.D.I.T.H. to orchestrate a fusion of all the Elementals. He intends to kill Peter's friends during the staged attack, as Beck is concerned that they will expose him with their knowledge. Peter disrupts the illusions and an enraged Beck attacks him with drones. Peter regains control of E.D.I.T.H. and defeats Beck, who is hit by a misfired gunshot from one of the drones. Before he dies, Beck tells his associate William Ginter Riva to retrieve data from the drones. After returning to New York City, Peter begins a relationship with MJ.
In a mid-credits scene, J. Jonah Jameson of TheDailyBugle.net broadcasts doctored footage of the London incident in which Beck frames Spider-Man for the drone attack and his death before exposing Spider-Man's secret identity to the world, much to Peter's shock. In a post-credits scene, Fury and Hill are revealed to be the Skrulls Talos and Soren in disguise, under orders from the real Fury while he is away in space commanding a group of Skrulls.
